The Tank, Medium, Type 33 is a medium/heavy tank entered service on the late stages of World War II as an answer against the German Pz. VI Tiger (both Henschel and Porsche) and the Soviet IS- tanks. Armed with a 44/105 Apep cannon used on the T-37A1 medium tank, it offers above-average penetration against contemporary tanks as well as decent mobility at flat terrain.

Overview

Appearance of the German Pz. V 'Panther' tanks, the Soviet KV- series and American M4A3E2 heavies prompted Teyvat to modify the Apaosha T-40 medium tank armed with a 76/36 cannon of the same bureau, 173 mm penetration point blank. The T-40 was underarmed even at modified versions, this sparked the concept of a heavy tank.

The T-33 and the T-34 are both heavy tanks featuring sloped frontal armor and a 44/105 Apep main calibre cannon. Secondary armament includes 19/12 Browning machine guns and 7.62 mm light one. The T-34 adopted the mobility system similar to the M26 Pershing, meanwhile the T-34 heavy featured a system similar to the Pz. V.

The T-33-1's maximum speed of 49 km/h ground speed, maximum climb angle of 9 degrees, and a crew of 5.

The tank type was given the name of 'Cyno' after entering service.
