Background
The Tempest is a two seater Light Multirole Fighter. Concepts were drawn up after the realization for the need to replace their aging Late 2nd Generation and Early 3rd Generation fighters. The union's requirement for such a fighter were that it was Mach 1 Capable, Had a Modular Weapon System and Radar with the ability to launch Radar Guided Missiles. Several Tempests were sent to support the Union Navy and intercept Anti-Ship Aircraft.
