Boeing B777-2H6ER (MH17) 9M-MRD
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 is a Boeing B777-2H6ER which shot down by a Russian-controlled forces and crashed near Hrabove, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine on 17 July 2014 following the vanishing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 while flying over eastern Ukraine, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew onboard. It was reported in 2016 that the aircraft had been downed by a Buk Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) launched from pro-Russian separatist-controlled territory in Ukraine.

@Superliner350 It took off from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Netherlands to it's scheduled destination at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. But was shot down by a Buk Surface-to-Air Missile and crashed near Hrabove, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
