After the failure of the A720, as a last attempt to save the company, Airbus released the A721 NEO, an updated version with a massive safety record due to its buoyancy and emergency flares. Cruising at over 45,000ft it could avoid tons of drag and messy weather and broke travel time records. Boeing immediately began development on reviving and old project, a project that could destroy the 720 series....
