This tank uses the same base as the SPT-06A1 but uses different turret compared to the predeccesor. It's new turret eleminates the flat egdes infront or beside the turret making it more small. Its new 135mm smoothbore allowing much greater penetration than the previous 120mm smoothbore used by SPT-06A1. Its fitted with new engines allowing much greater speed. The uses of more advanced material allowing the tank to be lighter that the predeccesor which increasing the cross country capability. It's also equipped with whole new suspension for more dampening and ground clearance. However, because of the turret design the gun depression is slightly lower than te predeccesor but has higher gun elevation.
