About
The "Ardrot FA-1" is a 4th gen single engine and single seat interceptor from the Indian company "Ardrot". It is a meant to be a replacement of the hit and run style combat that the MIG-25 offered. Due to the insane fuel consumption the engine takes to get up to speed, the fighter is expensive to operate, and hence, only 5 ever entered service.
Top speed: Above Mach 3 (Drop tanks ejected).
G's pulled: 20+ G's instantaneous, 12 G's sustained.
Rotate speed: 400 KM/H/ 250 MPH
Stall speed: 280 KM/H / 173 MPH
Ceiling height: 70,000ft (It literally will not turn if you go any higher, but it has to be that high for that speed)
Controls
- Pitch: as it is, no alternate controls
- Same with roll
- Same with yaw
- Same with trim
- VTOL: Down for flaps and slats control, VTOL up does is not input for anything
- AG1: Eject drop tanks
- AG2: Toggle strobe lights
- AG3: Toggle formation lights
- AG 4: Extend/Retract arresting hook
Armaments
- 8 × Interceptor missiles (XML modded)
- 2 × Cleaver missiles (Heavily modded)

Features
- It technically has G force limitation code.
It R e a l l y isn't that good. It needs time before it slows down to the needed speed. Please do give me some better solutions because I don't want to stick to this for the long run - It has a Pitch rate limitor
- It has heavy xml modding, maybe a little overboard with the drag reduction, but I honestly do like what I have going with the mach 3 breaking engine idea.
- It has functional flaps
- it has a VR supported cockpit (Credit to jundroo, most of the cockpit is straight from the Wasp)
- It is both, AI and mobile friendly, without sacrificing much detail

About my experience
Soooooo this is my first ever upload. It is also only my 3rd plane. My 2nd one was a sorry excuse of a 5th gen, I was going to upload it.... a month ago... but it was such a fail that I got depressed and almost quit simpleplanes before I even started 😂
My first ever one was the tutorial plane, which was, is and always will be my best plane because it is the gigachad that starts everyone's legacy here.
I honestly had fun making this, it wasn't meant to be anything with lots of effort, it's just me doing random things. Honestly? I like what I made here a lot. It really isn't a crazy awesome thing though, I have to admit, I really just made this for myself, and somewhat also because I need something to get my points up...
I must thank @ZoaMiki, she basically mentored me through everything and taught me all this editing and xml stuff. Could not have done any of this without her.
Also, my opinion on SP so far? Great! Love it. I just wish I didn't feel unnecessary pressure to always make the perfect plane and impress everyone. Ig this swordfish serves as some sort of reminder that we shouldn't forget to enjoy making things as we make and upload them. Anyway, I'm so sorry for taking your time! I really appreciate if you read through all that and again, I really do hope you enjoy this plane!

Yeah, about three years ago I started talking with Gx, and about two years ago I started talking with Zoa. Back then I only knew her as his IRL girlfriend, but after last year when she made the Draco? I started viewing her as a fellow builder with a trick or two up her sleeve.

@ThomasRoderick You know Zoa too? Also yeah, I am aware about the passing away of Gx. I've offered to help build up that universe and Zoa did not seem to mind
@Galaxees Well, I was here for a long time so it's natural that I picked up a few things from others... And I am working on Zoa's Echostar (used to be Gx's, but well, long story short, he died IRL so Zoa sorta took over his AU) where pretty much everything decision was done through copious amount of sketching.
