This is the first New Wright Republic aircraft I've uploaded in more than two years, and while it doesn't look like much I've certainly improved when it comes to making helicopters. May all of you have a merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Description
The Markov Mar-1 Mudskipper was the first production helicopter in history. During the Reunification War, paratroopers attempted to invade the Eisberg Federation's territory to no avail due to their superior anti-air technology, and naval landings were made impossible due to mines. Wright High Command wanted a solution that would hopefully bring some sort of tactical victory against Eisberg, and they found one in the Markov Aeronautical Corporation. Its founder, Yegor Markov was practically a household name when it came to aviation, having helped design the Garrison PFG Savior flying boat that saved countless Wright airmen. Aside from building flying boats, he also had a fascination for vertical flight and his dream was to create a form of transportation that would make flight more convenient to everyone. Markov built the YM-3 prototype in 1941 and the Wright Republic military suddenly had a keen interest in helicopter development. After a few years of testing, the Mar-1 was approved for mass production starting in February of 1945. The Army used it mainly for VIP and casualty transport in areas where planes cannot land on, while the Navy used it to recover downed pilots. By far its greatest feat was the raid on the Ice Base mountain fortress on December 1945 when four Mudskippers took off from the escort carrier WNAF Smalls and evaded radar detection to send commandos to sabotage the base. One of the helicopters was shot down by a missile but the other three succesfully landed near the base and deployed their troops. After the war ended on May 1946, the Mar-1 still continued serving what is now the New Wright Republic for about twenty more years before being replaced by far superior turboshaft-powered helicopters.
