History:

The Roto-Class Light Cruisers were constructed in 1945 to assist in World War II. The ships were armed with 8x Primary 125mm guns and 16x Secondary 50mm guns. The lack of AA armament was addressed in 1946 and 4x AA turrets were added. The ships were used by the United States Navy for several years. The ships were later removed from service in 1948 after many successful missions.
The original design of the class was decided to be wider than needed. This was resolved in the 1946 modifications. The turn rate was also modified, making it more maneuverable.
