SD Zero - 0 drag points, no modding

The Super Deformed Zero is a small jet plane with zero drag points, designed to loosely resemble it's namesake. By a fluke of design I stumbled upon a core configuration (actually a few) that have no drag points, and without any modding of parts or XML editing. Because of the low drag, this aircraft can get fantastic performance out of a single J15 Jet Engine. ;ve got a few of these Zero Works aircraft.

Performance Data:
Take Off Speed: approximately 300 mph, but best to wait until 330mph. Can sometimes rotate at 270mph with the "low speed brake" at 45 degrees. The SD Zero can take off from a carrier (even the Tiny). In fact, taking off from a carrier is easier.

Top Speed: 2000 + mph low altitude (approximately 4 minutes flight time at full power); over 4000 mph at high altitude (approximately 7 minutes flight time at full power). Flight time is proportionally greater at lower throttle settings. Those content at only going Mach 2 will have a flight time closer to an hour.

Ceiling: Over 70000 feet (probably well over)

Note that at low speeds (below 500 mph) the nose tends to droop, and at high speeds (over 1500 mph) the nose will pitch up a bit. To help keep trim at low speed flight and to assist with take offs and landings a "trim brake" has been assigned to AG1.

To land, reduce power to around 15%, activate AG1 and set the "trim brake" about half way, then gently apply the other air brakes as you approach to control your speed. This should let the plane land at around 150 mph, on it's landing spheres (lighter that landing gear and less drag).
