The most manuevrable of them all. This plane used a rotary engine! Because of this all torque issues are now solved, and so single engine configurations are now possible! You can do some crazy aerobatics with this plane without risking an engine failure.

Instructions:

Start in the air.
Throttle up and slide VTOL up until you get the desired thrust.

Side note: The rotary engine makes for a perfect underwater/submarine engine.

Enjoy flying!

And I have an experience when I was playing Minecraft-on PC. Once I downloaded a mod, I no longer want to delete it because it is so fun, and sure makes something easier for me. But there are always someone out there choosing to go vanilla and beat the game only on survival, with no cheats and moderate difficulty. I am the latter on this game....for now.

I know. But some values are not supposed to be changed, at least in the vanilla game. And yes, the mods exist because they make our lives easier. But sometimes it is important to go "vanilla", and especially important for me if I cannot get any mode fired up.

@CDRxavier I get what you're saying, but really with XML modding you're just changing values, it doesn't add anything and certainly doesnt make building easier. 90% of the builds you see are XML modded, really it's just a more efficient way of doing things.

Half of me likes simple builds that functions well while the other half want complex things (I cannot wait to build a fully-mechanical something-be a car, plane, or a unmoddd piston engine). But, none of them want modded, "unclean" works.

As you can see, what I had created is nothing complex and nothing modded. Clean, pure , unobstructed structure and no pain-stakenly complicated builds. However, something very complex (like a super big turbo fan piston engine) is also okay, long as it is pure.

I am on iOS, and I am really not interested in modding-pure and clean builds is what I am looking for, really.

@CDRxavier if youre using android or youre on PC really the best way to XML mod is to just get the overload mod and edit the values in the editor

How can you mod them? Changing the auxiliary files?

@CDRxavier Yes it is, you can take a look at real life reciprocating engines and make one based off of them. I've already built one but it cant produce much power..

And now apparently I am totally stuffed because there is not a part called "rod" and I cannot build one like a engine used in a car-I mean, the engine for cars in real life. They have crank shaft and stuff. Their piston rod is not modded and cannot be modded to have no collision. However, they have the rotary mechanism in the rod (enables piston links to go around) where the game lacks. So as long as nothing is released by them, we have to mod the pistons.

I know you guys can mod them. Thatis not a problem because I got some of your builds hanging around here. I just want to know if it is possible to build a piston engine that do not need a modded piston and is fast enough to use on a plane.

@CDRxavier Yes you can do it ingame using the overload mod, or you can just download one of my engines and save one of the pistons as subassembly, mine have no collisions.

@Visify You do need to mod the pistons to let them have no hitbox so it can rotate, right?
I am not really into the modding thing. I WILL CREATE A ENGINE WITHOUT ANY MODDING!!!
    What should it be called?

I renamed the engine into XenoDash Rotary. It is the name of a propeller from the game "Touch Racing 2". Check it out on Apps Store. Also, "X" is the first letter of my name, so I think it fits this engine better than the oscillating one.

@Visify @MethaManAircraft I have created THE OSCILLATING PISTON ENGINE! Until I upload(as soon as possible), NO COMING UP WITH ANYTHING NEW, okay?

Although this is WEIRD (VERY WEIRD) and do not produce much power (I would rather put one at front and one at back, like Do-335 frame plane). But I will try and slap it onto a plane of mine, and give it a 5-blade rotor.
