*Note: This is a re-upload. I moved some things around so It could carry my newest creation, the "Simple Torpedo."

Named for it twin forked tail and sweeping main wings The PX-2A "Swallow Tail" is the American counterpart to the British Wingblade. Both being developed in secrecy as part of the same project during WWII. It's odd shape was an early experiment with "lifting body" aircraft. With a top speed of only 450mph the Swallow Tail was slower than its British rival, but c could out turn the big bird in a dogfight. Already developed as a robust naval fighter the Swallow Tail excelled as a torped do bomber. It's flat pancake like shape and low stall speed allowed the plane to stay even with the surface while making it difficult for anti-aircraft gunners to hit head on. Like the Wingblade the inspiration for this plane came from an idea I had for a comic. I wanted to test to see if the design I came up with on paper might work in real life. Whether you're pulling off some odd acrobatics that only a lifting body plane can or seeing how close to can dive to the water This plane is fun to fly. Again, for you airplane buffs I pulled design aspects from some of my favorite WWII and modern planes. They include the Vought XF5U "Flying Flapjack," The F-117 Nighthawk, and the B-2 Spirit.
