HEAVILY UPGRADED VERSION OF OTANA’S JET (now chill tf out). I made this jet carrier capable, improved the flight performance, added custom weaponry, upgraded the cockpit, changed the thrust vectoring and engine power, improved the afterburners, added airbrakes, added nav lights, and refined other aspects of this jet (so in other words I did literally nothing at all because realism, flight performance, and combat performance are irrelevant). Otana’s version was clearly not a final version because it had many flaws that I had to fix. This jet is the U.S. Navy’s upcoming NGAD fighter. This jet includes a functional weapons bay loaded with advanced near future missiles. These missiles have 360 degree scan/lock capability to mimic the capabilities of modern IRSTs and AESA radars. They are also extremely long range, fast, and highly maneuverable. This jet has afterburners that can push it to a top speed of 2000mph+. It features thrust vectoring, however neither this jet nor the real NGAD jets are designed for high maneuverability, rather they prioritize stealth, range, and networking capabilities. The aircraft is fully carrier capable, as it includes an arresting hook (AG6) and catapult connector. The ideal landing speed for carrier operations is 220mph+ in level flight with the use of low speed control thrust nozzles (AG6). This jet has very low drag so the airbrakes (AG4 and/or Brake) are necessary for landing at reasonable speeds. This jet has an extremely high chaff dispension rate to mimic the effects of stealth on radar guided missiles. It is important to note that the NGAD fighters of tomorrow are not designed to be unbeatable dogfighters. They are instead flying super computers that specialize in long range, high speed stealth strikes on air/surface targets. If you try to dogfight an F-22 you will die.
