For casual takeoff, set your VTOL up all the way, give a little 5 to 10 percent of thrust. Once airborne, quickly set the throttle to 0, hit AG 3, wait for the jet eng to fall off and give throttle all the way.

The reason for jet eng. being too powerful is because I made it for 'Going The Distance' mission where you get a little amount of fuel. When playing that challenge, don't hit AG 3 'cause rule states that none of your parts shall touch the water. Therefore - quickly give a 100 percent power without hitting any 'Max Throttle' button, and fly for the distance. (Don't forget to get VTOL up)
