Description

The Soviets watched as the German Junkers 78 Sturzkampfflugzeug (Stuka) rain destruction and terror with deadly precision. An engineer then had an IL-2 Sturmovik into a dive bomber. In 1943,The IL-2X was born. more powerful, more payload, and better flight performance.

It was just an IL-2 with tweaked wings to accommodate more bomb bays. Some chose to put additional RBS-132 rockets underwing. Russian simplicity yet such good performance.

Normal flight control, but before bombing :

• Select a target first, as the safety prevents friendly forces to be targeted
• Dive around 45 to 75 degrees, over 75 degrees is not recommended
• Either press one at a time or hold the fire button to drop the bombs

Foot Notes

• After landing, do not slam on the brakes. Modulate the brakes and be gentle on it, as it tends to flip forward when you slam the brakes.

• Because the challenge limits to max of 5 bombs, it's got 4 100kg bombs, instead of 8 50kg bombs
