In 2012, to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the development of the G2 coupe, Gavril Automobile Company and Ibishu Automobile Company produced the ultimate version of the G2. This version was the ChuxiLuo edition (which was actually a modification of the G2X). Its advantage was that it featured a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine, and the price was $114,514. However, shortly afterward, the modified G2X began to be involved in frequent traffic accidents. The reason for the increasing number of casualties in these G2 coupe ChuXiLuo edition was that the car lacked an electronic stability control system. It was not until 2015 that Gavril Automobile Company noticed these issues and quickly stopped selling the ChuxiLuo edition of the G2.
