The IoQFA CASAC-15 Cloud.

Overview:
The CASAC-15 (Code name: Cloud) is a twin engine, tandem seat, light trainer and close air support aircraft. Designed in 2010 by IoQFA aerospace, it currently serves in several nations air forces.
Design: The CASAC-15 was originally developed in 2009 to meet requirement LENK (Subsection A) Blue Skies, which called for a multi-role, cheap, and fuel efficient alternative to the aging attack craft in many nation’s militaries. The call went out several different defense firms, with IoQFA submitting the XA-15 Soul Eater, competing with REVOKE’s XA-17, and several other entries. After evaluation, the XA-15 and XA-17 were selected due to favourable handling characteristics. The XA-15 having more powerful biofuel engines, and the XA-17 carrying a specially designed sensor suite, it was decided to adopt the two. However, after the 2011 recession, requirement LENK (Subsection A) was modified to include the REVOKE sensor package, forcing IoQFA to redesign the XA-15 to carry the heavy sensor equipment. Along with this change came the requirement for the craft to carry the 60mm HEARING AID (High Explosive Anti-Tank Rapid-fire Integrated Next-gen Gun, Airborne in Design) Weapons pod. This led to a complete redesign. The wings were moved back by 2 meters, and the wingspan was increased by ¼. The original 6 (six) .50 BMG M2 Browning machine guns were replaced with 2 (two) 20 mm cannons. This allowed the additional wing space for the wing mounted sensors of the REVOKE package to be installed. The “V” Tail was replaced by a more conventional “T” Tail, which simplified maintenance and control. The original landing gear were angled outwards at 10 degrees to increase stability when landing with full loads.
Weapons testing began in October of 2012, with several different placements of weapons pylons being trialled. The brand new SQUIRM (Simple Quad Under-wing Instrumental Rocket Mount) was trialed. Allowing for 4 (four) AGMs to be carried where the previous mounts could only carry 2. This led to a reduction in the number of pylons from 12 to 6. And the installation of 2 (two) SRHSMs (Short Range, Heat Seeking, Missiles) under the wings, where the previous designs had them mounted on over-wing pylons. The HEARING AID was noted to reduce performance, and also increase takeoff length substantially. This led to the design being split into three models. The now designated CASAC-15, with the HEARING AID. the CASA-15 which did not have the HEARING AID, but had IoQFA and REVOKE sensor packages. And the ECASA-15, which was an export variant of the craft, with less advanced electronics and no HEARING AID, designed for nations that did not have the infrastructure to operate the CASAC-15.

Operational History: “The CASAC-15 and it’s variants have served in [REDACTED] conflicts as of 2019, seeing action in the cold tundras of [REDACTED] to the hottest deserts of [REDACTED] it has served admirably, our pilots have taken to naming the craft the Arabella, which loosely translates to “Beautiful Air”, as it’s sleek lines and smooth design are unlike the last attack craft we had in our inventory. We thank you, IoQFA for the opportunity to operate these craft.” - Admiral A.M of the [REDACTED] Airforce.
In recorded conflicts, the CASAC-15 has served in 10 (ten) over the last few years, and maintained an impressive record of having only 1 (one) combat loss, which was to friendly fire. The craft has scored a recorded 500 (Five-Hundred) ground targets destroyed, and 7 (Seven) air targets destroyed. The CASAC-15 has become a legend, with many troops singing its praises after calling it in by screaming “And then the clouds roll by” which has led to many ground forces to surrender at the mere sound of this chant.
The CASAC-15 has been praised by many pilots during its service life. Including the legendary Dave “Devil’s Eyes” Elvis, who claimed the craft was “Exceptional in almost every aspect” and “A joy to fly, even if she’s a bit sluggish when fully loaded”. Harrison “Hippie Sabotage” Smith called the plane a “Real work of art, and it flies like one as well”.

Specific Aircraft Details:
The Aircraft pictured is a CASAC-15 of IoQFA’s private air defense force. A private contract company that can be called into conflict with any client to defend the interests of IoQFA. This aircraft is flown by Lt. Maj. Coma Feint, the craft itself is known as “Snake Eyes”, with the craft itself being the highest scoring IoQFA CASAC-15 on record. With 150 ground kills and 3 air kills. The craft is armed with the SQUIRM, HEARING AID, and SRHSM packages. With over 15 000 flight hours, it has more than proved itself in the field of combat.

NIU (Not In Universe) Comments
Things to know: This plane has XML modded parts, the engines are modded to produce 1.5 times their normal thrust, and the two fuselage fuel tanks are set to weigh half of what they weigh un modded. If his is an issue, let me know. If the cannon pod is too laggy, then I can upload the non cannon model. This thing has 4 cameras that give good views of the whole plane.

ALSO:
Just for fun, I hid four song titles in this description, the first person to comment all four gets 4 upvotes added to their profile. Good luck!
Controls:
Flight: All controls are standard.
Weapons: The missiles are all standard, but the (Simulated) 60mm is jus rockets in a tube, and will be fired like normal rockets.
Other:
AG1 for the lights.
AG2 for the parachute
AG3 to eject the quad mounts.

@BagelPlane Well, it took me a while to find it, but the way you input the photos is ![](Link here) and you have to include the square and round brackets. I just write out my descriptions in google docs and copy paste them into the description box. (Idk if that works on chromebook)

If you want to upload screenshots or photos that only you have, then you have to upload them to an image hosting site (I use imigur) and copy the link. (If you do use imigur you have to remove the s in https:// so that it's http:// ) Feel free to hmu if you have any more questions, and I hope this helps!
