The Douglas DC-8 Skybus is a american concept ariliner,this project from the 40's after the war was to made a successor plane for the Dc-3,mostly this plane is based on the XB-42 a prototype bomber whit 2 push engines,this plane was ment to carry 40-48 passengers to airports whit rough Runway thanks to is big wheels but the plane never tookoff do to no interest in proppeller plane,But the name DC-8 remained e went to the Jet version that competed the 707.
