Welcome to the hall of fame.

Through thick and thin, these 3 proved themselves worthy with cooperation, coordination, sheer willpower and most of all, SKILL!

And now I have 3 absolutely badass aircraft to ungratefully nitpick on (Thanks for teaching me how to do this, Thomas). BUT BERFORE THAAAAT. Let's be a little grateful to these guys and make their day with this... sort of documentary like recollection of how I FELT while watching these things happen and even being a part of some of the trials and tribulations.

RavenHawk, The Queen of doom.

I saw this one for the first time, and I was sure it's going to be on the podium, but... I wasn't actually expecting it to win. You'll see my reasoning with what I say about the YF-64. I honestly was not a fan of how it looked first, and that is a good thing... because It eventually started growing on me... I mean, This thing is... She's FAR from the conventional 6th generation conceptualization. You don't normally think of something quite like this, I'd say what Whills made is the most realistic iteration... but Jay took the perfect amount of risks. At some point in it's development, I got roped in to help Jay out on the visuals (I made that thumbnail) and screenshots. I also will probably have a pretty chonky role in the teaser he made for it. I was right there with him and saw the troubles and problems he went through but how adamant he was to keep up to his standards of excellence. Trust me, the aircraft he's working on is one thing, The concept o the teaser for it, complete with voice acting and heavy editing?? IT's not yet out yet, but just taking up such a big responsibility after making OBJECTIVELY the BEST 6th gen on the sight right now.. You gotta commend the man for his unwavering dedication. Mind you, I saw him treat this like a job he's getting paid for. It was truly maddening how much work he wanted and still is currently putting in the project as we speak. Right now, as of writing this, he's probably spending sleepless nights to push that video out. He's an almost an angel of a man and he deserves this win.
Congratulations, Jay, You've proven yourself worthy of the test of excellence, and the creation you made is beyond beautiful.

YF-64, The Queen's Knight

When I say I genuinely thought is all over for the competition when this thing came through, I mean it. You know the claim I just gave that the RavenHawk is one of the best 6th gen's on the entire sight right now? This thing is probably right there with it. You were close, Whills... Very close. You pulled off something truly special and you were just shy of the big win. What you achieved in that span of time, which you worked your butt of till the last minute, IIRC... and submitted not only the plane, which by itself is just a beautiful thing, you went above and beyond to make it a decent video and you set a new standard for mobile friendly aircraft- That you've already been doing- with this though, we've reached extraordinary levels. Your biggest innovation was putting a form factor like this in such a condensed and purposeful manner... once again, You've set new standards. Congratulations. Really. You've pulled off something absolutely insane here and have reached the podium of glory and Rightfully so. This cemented you as the best recent age creators on Simple Planes and I wish your creations in the next game to also be appreciated just as much, provided the quality of your work never drops. I also wish you well in life in general, you seem like a pretty nice guy xD
Congratulations on your Podium win. You've earnt that trophy. Even though it isn't an actual, physical one, I hope you like it,

The Queen's Royal Guard

What a dream to fly. Actually earns it's name of Pegasus. Sure, the GForces Will kill you if this was a real thing but... COME ON THE CONTROLS ARE SO DAMN SMOOTH. Also, just in general, the way you were ready to cooperate and were so humble about this entire thing... I'm eternally grateful to you for participating and also then going ahead to actually be so appreciative of... well... my brutal honesty. It shows you deeply care and have massive efforts put behind everything... and You didn't take that and let it get to your head. You started with the SU-97, and being told that you'd be better off making a completely new plane, you listened, responded well and worked on something that outdid even that. Honestly, Lucky you, you almost lost your podium spot too. IF you wouldn't have pushed yourself and made the absolutely mesmerizing craft that is the TX-01, you would have lost enough points to not make it here.
Congratulations, ToeTips, Despite the hurdles you faced and the amount of pressure that you were under, you get to accompany the other two with the marvel you've made in the Pegasus.

Alright, Alright, Enough glazing and celebrations for a little bit, We're about to get into the nitty-gritty. It's time to justify their positions with relentless, hurtful, unforgiving barraging of every little detail. I mean it too, I literally tore your aircrafts apart in the designer and spent hours testing to make sure these final scores, which have been condensed in docs, are fair and accurate. Good luck reading it. Some parts will be hard to read even for the ones who are just here to check it out. We judges didn't go easy on you all.

I'm working on this style of documents for the rest of the participants. Do give me time. I deeply apologise for all the delays... This is a really big and ambitious thing and after all, it is very difficult to pull of. Speaking of, by the way, I didn't do all of this alone, as you all know. So here's a few People I have to thank for everything up till now. The amount of things you all have done for me... I can't express my gratitude enough. I'm truly, from the bottom of my heart really thankful to these people for making everything happen.

Firstly, the members of the discord server, especially those who volunteered to help judge and hand rewards.

Lastly... well. You. To you who's reading... Who bothered staring at some pixels on a screen with barely some meaning behind them, Thank you. It's because people like you exist that I, and clearly many others, as proven by the participants of this challenge, prove that you're one of the main reasons why we are here and want to keep doing this for the fun of it!

Oh yeah, My IRL bestest friend too. You know who you are. I love you so much... Thank you for supporting me. In honor of her roses, one the sadly passed away during the making of this challenge, we'll call the winner's Rose "Lace".

This whole challenge is so comically high effort I cannot comprehend the effort 😭😭😭😭 Gargantuan scale of effort
    .
Anyways, the Category A4 fuel guzzling thing in the TX-01 caught my attention because I happen to have knowledge related to it, so I wanted to make a quick comment about it.
    .
You can have cool jet sound and not make your aircraft have BIG fuel appetite. First, separate the jet engine making cool sounds from the main craft by putting a Rotator/SmallRotator/HingeRotator between the engine and the craft, and making sure the sound engines aren't connected to the fuel having craft so it doesn't drain the fuel too quickly.
Second, take a look at the rate the craft burns fuel in different throttles and see if it drains too much or too little. Can't really explain it well right now, so:
    - tweak the massScale of the Fuel Tank to give the illusion of having less fuel and less fuel burn rate (Fuel burn rate = 4.0, Fuel = 400, massScale = 0.1. Fbr x mS = perceived fuel burn rate, F x mS = perceived fuel amounts. basically, the Engine appears to be guzzling small amounts of fuel, when in reality it is guzzling LARGE amounts of fuel, it's just that the fuel's mass is downscaled to match the supposed fuel mass.. or something.)
    - Play around with engine consumption rates. Your engines have nice afterburning sound but you don't like how it consumes too little fuel? Try slapping another engine and mess around with the inputControllers until you get the fuel consumption rates you want. (or you don"t? idk.) Try messing around with all sorts of jet engines, and I do mean all. Keep messing them around till you get the jet sounds, fuel consumption rate (and also thrust) juuuuuuust right.
Of course, I do recommend that you mess with both the fuel tanks and the engines, not just one of the two.
