After the War in 1946, the Csiterian Air force needed a better all around plane after their P-43s became outdated and slow, with orders of a single engine fighter, mourant would take up the program and design a side intake fighter with 3 12.7MM machine guns and a single big pylon to fit either large bombs or torps, for quick ground and naval attack, entering service early in april 1946 and not exiting until 1958 as its last use was recon then every jet was slowly donated to museums or demilitarized for civillian use, based on the P-80 Shooting star
