T-35C Cottonmouth

1,363 69  21 hours ago

The WAI (Wisconsin Aircraft Industries) T-35C Cottonmouth was a competitor to the North American T-2 Buckeye
It was promised to have a larger fuel capacity and higher speed than that of the T-2 Buckeye while also being cheaper and smaller
However cut short by the lack of funding
Two were completed a third was never finished before the project was killed off
Only one airworthy example remains to this day.
