Nothin special, just a replica of an A-10 Wart hog that I was finally able to create. The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin turbofan engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force. Commonly referred to by its nicknames Warthog or Hog, its official name comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II fighter that was effective at attacking ground targets. The A-10 was designed for close-in support of ground troops, close air support, and providing quick-action support for troops against helicopters and ground forces. It entered service in 1976 and is the only production-built aircraft that has served in the USAF that was designed solely for CAS. Its secondary mission is to provide forward air controller – airborne support, by directing other aircraft in attacks on ground targets. Aircraft used primarily in this role are designated OA-10

@GhostHTX So, from the little info I could find, the elsewhere is the actual revolving part of the gun that emits from the craft (the barrels)?

Regardless, I think this is a very promising model. You have the overall shape right. I like it.

@pushthelimits I suggest that you google "A-10 nosewheel" and you will see what I mean.

As you look at the A-10 from the front, the gun is actually off centre to the right, the nose gear to the left.

@GhostHTX Now I am just confused...

@pushthelimits No problem. I mean that the gun is centred on the A-10. The nosewheel is offset to the pilots left.

I hate auto correct sometimes. I meant to say miniGUN, not minimum.

@GhostHTX Oh, so the minimum in the nose isn't centered in the real thing, unlike the model.

@pushthelimits I mean that in reality the A-10 has a nose wheel, not a tail wheel.
That nose wheel is not centralised on the fuselage, because of the big rotary cannon the A-10 has in her nose.

I based it off of a 1:42 scale model (or some ratio of that size) to build it off of.

@GhostHTX Honestly, I have no Idea what those mean.

One small detail; the A10 isnt a tail dragger. She has an offset nosewheel, to allow for the big gun. Looks nice, otherwise.
