"Backbone of the force and has been walking with the infantryman since 1982"

The TV-19 Walker is family of wheeled armored vehicle produced by the Rymemoran company. It is all wheel drive capable and has a adaptable and future proof chasis that can be built into a vast variety of variants.

Design : TV-19F Walker

The TV-19F Walker APC is the latest variant of the walker APC line. It's defining feature is the integration of hard and soft kill active protection system. The vehicle uses the Beskyetter APS for hard kill active protection and the Vonder electronic jammer system for soft kill active protection. The vehicle itself is using an 8x8 chassis powered by a 400hp diesel engine. The Walker require a crew of 2 to fully operate and can seat 10 full equipped infantry. The vehicle is fully protected from .50 cal machine gun all around, it is also able to resist mines due to its height and superior armor. For defense and infantry support the Walker is armed with a 40mm low velocity auto cannon. In case of emergency the TV-19F can quickly deploye smokes around itself and retreat at high speed. One drawback of the vehicle is its large size and weight, making it easily spotted and often targeted.

Development

In 1978 after the Druida War the Arsenian military was looking at what it has learned from the conflict. A consensus was established that the Arsenian infantryman was seriously lacking in protection and supporting elements. While they do had APCs and personel carriers, none of them were able to combine speed and armor in a single package. Thus a new program would start.

The Indiere company would won the development contract due to their promise of a cheap and upgradeable platform, more than a single vehicle. In 1981 the vehicle began its initial testing program. This would conclude quickly as the very simple nature of the vehicle resulted in minimal testing and early production.

By late 1982 the vehicle began entering service in the Arsenian army. The vehicle proved reliable and tough, it was able to handle just about anything it faced.

The vehicle's combat legacy would begin in 1988 with the Aferikan Continental War. Large number of Walker APC would serve as the backbone of the lighting fast campaign. They would serve many duties in the war, from APC, armored ambulance, armored supply carrier, infantry support, command vehicle, and more. They were loved by the army for their easy to repair and very reliable nature. These aspects would help see the Walker APC to se service even to the modern day, with it seeing many upgrades and improvement thought the year.

Controls

Pitch : forward and backwards

Notes

The vehicle is remarkably stable on flat ground, even in high speeds, be careful of bumps tho
This is a very old design that i never got around to uploading
I have quiet a bit of free time so hopefully i can upload more often
The next few stuff would probably use SP2 screenshot because the new lighting engine is really good
