I got bored, and decided to turn Mitterbin's plane into a baby arsenal bird

The X-5000 also known as "Baby Bird" is an Erusean aircraft, reverse engineered from the Osean Arsenal Bird early into the Lighthouse war. It was made to cover areas that the Arsenal bird couldn't (mostly northern Usea, especially Farbanti). One main difference that this has compared to the Arsenal bird, is its ability to take off and land on regular runways, which means it's able to be loaded with much larger variety of weapons. It can carry one drone, the MQ-100, which is more or less an upgraded version of the MQ-99.

Trigger faces two of these things, in quite quick succession too. First off in Mission 13, where after all the missile silos are destroyed, Erusea dispatched a Baby Bird carrying 2 IRBMs. Trigger then takes it down, but his teammate, Húxiān, gets hit, and isn't able to participate in missions until "Homeward".

His second encounter with the Baby Bird is in Mission 15, where it flies in the airspace, supposedly carrying Anti satellite weaponary. Trigger, again, shoots it down, but one missile is fired, which cuts out their communications outside of the LOS.
