Introduction

The MiH-8 Piranha is a medium utility helicopter designed in the late 60s alongside the MAK-GAF (Multi Advanced Kombat-Ground Attack Force) program
Being a child of this program the Piranha would fit a variety of roles in the Federation Air Force and army before they would adopt the MiH-24 Akula which would replace all combative roles such as gunship, strike, and assault roles.
The VDVNA (Independent Army Airborne) would trail some paratrooper variants but would ultimately stick to the GBz-9 as it had better performance.
The MiH-8 would see massive use especially in underdeveloped military forces.
