The 098-YR (Codename: Ran) is a twin engine, single seater, high speed and extreme maneuverability stealth fighter. This jet was based on the nine-tailed fox Youkai of Touhou, Yakumo Ran. Ran is the mid boss of the extra stage in Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom, despite being a mid boss, she is very powerful, her power was demostrated through a very long and very hard boss battle, her battle have been recorded as the longest mid boss battle in all Touhou games, just like Chen, she spins everytime she moves, even though she doesn't move freely in the screen like Chen, she can move from one place to another very quickly and this jet maneuverability is just as insane: roll 180 degrees in a blink of an eye, turn half a circle (pitch 180 degrees) in an abnormal 3.5 seconds.
