The U-12 IFV is the second generation of IFV in unknown army, the vehicle introduced between 1980-1990, after losing lots previous IFV.

The development began in 197x after seeing the first IFV was obselete. The government ask for a new generation IFV that cheap, fast and have unknown army logo. Several technician were called for finishing the job. And some spy used for learn another new IFV from Eastern and Western country. Also the first IFV have lot of serious problem having an atgm launcher that always broke, no depression angle that hard to shoot target, and also the small room for the crew makes it uncomfortable (like no Wi-Fi, or sound systems). So the designer need to redesign a new IFV rather than just upgrading the old IFV. The first noticable design was a bigger size turret , more wider and also thicker frontal armor and, looks more terrifying.

The armament was new 37mm owo-autocanon that has big rate of fire but has a spread bullet pattern and, also new N-SCOPE ATGM that could destroy tank and even low air flyer. With a new Carousel atgm launcher that proved not only easier to reload, but also easier to fix and hard to totally destroy it (because the vehicle were weaker than the launcher.)
And also the IFV now have lot smoke granades

The armor was so much better than before, featuring a spaced armor that proved not only cheap, but also more durable. Thanks to it, the front can hold up to 400mm of chemical and 230mm of kinetic armor, to keep the prices low, the side armor covered by 30mm +10mm of armor and the rear only 15 mm of mixture armor

The mobility in other hand was slower because the same engine as before for kept the price low. In other hand, the vehicle received a new hydropneumatic suspension that not only help to improve the armor but also to help to beat rougher terrain.

The IFV saw first combat in late 1980 during the the great war. The first battalion with it was the 360th battalion and proved to good in war. The turret could hold lot of atgm and in the first operation the IFV destroyed some of enemies mbt. The IFV has seen many combats and served perfectly as an cavalry tank. The most intense was the operation sleepy Hunter. When 2 IFV destroyed an enemies airfield without being spotted. Even that the IFV have some problem, sometimes the atgm crashes itself to it. The IFV has some problem when braking too hard to cause the tank to flip.
