Another build just to test things out and improve myself at the game!

This is a water-takeoff aircraft. You can land and takeoff from water. If you're using the location "Water takeoff", don't forget to raise the landing gear first. And with that, yes, there's a landing gear allowing you to land on airstrips as well.

This is a big craft. So don't do extreme maneuvers unless in desperate situations. One mistake (or is it?) I made was that there's no place to hide a cockpit. So you cannot see from the cockpit view. Instead I installed a camera.

I based the design on H8K. Turns out there's not enough power, so I added two engines. They are on an angle as well, so that the center of thrust actually goes through the center of mass.

Controls:

VTOL on the left: it is used to control flaps. Flaps are not binded to any action groups. You can also use the flaps as manual trims.

Takeoff: put VTOL slider on the second slot from the bottom. That would put the flap on takeoff position. Then accelerate to 100% thrust, and hold "S" key until liftoff. When you are airborne, keep flying level to the ground until speed reaches 200 mph. Then put the VTOL slider back to the middle to close you flap, and fly away!

Landing: Put the VTOL slider all the way to the bottom to put the flaps into landing position. If landing on land, always keep your thrust on at over 10% until you're right over your airstrip. Also, the layout of the gear make the plane bounce unless you touch the front and back wheels down at the same time. Don't worry, as the plane can survive several bounces. Be aware that this plane cannot turn very well in water, so leave enough room for takeoff.

Thrust control: 50% thrust is enough for climbing and most maneuvers, 25% thrust is enough for flying level and gentle maneuvers. Always fly at 200mph or faster (unless in final)
