HISTORY
The C.1B Bomber, nicknamed "Hornet" by airmen, was a Multirole Heavy Fighter/Bomber produced in the 1850s, It served within the Crosandian Airforce during the Rockwell War against the empire of Phenita, it filled the role of a bomber that would help support advancing infantry regiments with its payload of 4 125 Pound Bombs, but also the role of a heavy fighter aircraft, with it carrying 4 Machine guns on each wing and a back gunner to defend against enemies coming from behind. It would be used in great effect in the battle of Zurga City, where it Terrorized Enemy Trechlines by bombing their machine gun positions and allowing allied troops to storm through their defenses, it would retire in 1878, far outliving it's use by the it's time and era.
Two Hornet Bombers in line to take off circa 1861.
