Built by the Escarti aircraft factory in Ferrara, Italy, during World War II. This was the company's first helicopter.
During the flight tests during an attack where a pilot tried to flee the attack in the helicopter. He was shot down in an unknown location, with the only prototype produced. Funding was cut, and all projects were burned, afraid that an advanced project would be captured by spies.
In 2019, the helicopter was found near Monte Grappa, near the base where the helicopter was. The remains of the helicopter are in a museum.
