EE Hexenjäger Mk II

7,174 AquiliusEpic  1.7 years ago

The Hexenjäger was originally Epic Engineering's Entry for the Luftwaffe Challenge by MAHADI.However now we bring you the newest version, with a completely overhauled fuselage and wing design, as well as altered weapon placement and removal of unnecessary electronics. We do now however have an interactive cockpit!
Originally based on a design featured in the Anime "Izetta: The Last Witch", this design marries features of the BF 109 and the HE 112 in an interesting manner. With the Mk II variant, however, we decided to model the craft closer to the V 5 and A-0 models of the Heinkel airframe.
Armed with 2 7.7MGs and taking the nose-mounted 20 mm cannon from existing HE 112 A-0 models, this plane is both faster than a regular HE 112 and more agile than a BF 109, yet retaining some of the aspects. This makes it way easier to cross-train existing pilots for the role. And in case your Navy has access to carriers, it even comes with an arrestor hook.
