The aircraft is nicknamed Pete because a pilot named Pete Clarkson flew in this plane to bomb Japanese ships. When he bombed a battleship it sank in minutes, then he hit the lower decks of an aircraft carrier and it angled so hard the planes rolled off its deck. Pete was later awarded a medal for his hard work. He unfortunatly passed in 1984 from lung cancer. He is missed by many and has a mark in American history.
