Armour (composite)

Armour designed for ships and main battle tanks, can withstand all three missiles and rocket pod from range (short range will render the armour useless) near misses by bombs can damage the armour but should not destroy it, missiles usualy get trapped in the spaced armour and damage the first layer,
Things it cannot withstand
Mini guns (####### OP####)
The biggest bomb
Direct hits by bombs
Close range missile hits

Works best when actualy made into a structure otherwhize it will be carried away with the missiles it needs some kind of platform to stabilize it and keep it rooted to the ground (why there is a million tons of fuel)

Armour layout
Spaced armour (two layers) will slow down the incoming missiles slightly reducing their kinetic energy
Air brakes these blocks don't transfer explosive power and are difficult to destroy, they take most of the hits
Block layer more blocks to destroy, the less lies you will lose a giant chunk of your armour
Fuselage layers multiple layers of fuselage blocks will hardly see the face of the enemy, but when your frontal armour is depleted and broken it helps to keep it attached
Spalling two layers, protects interior modules from shaped charge ammunition (it actualy helps if there's a gun that welds its way through your armour, because at least there is something to protect engines and interior mechanisms

Enjoy

Basically it's designed to mainly slow down the missiles, and then try and stop them damaging the interior mechanisms of a ship or something the entire concept is based on main battle tank armour I just made a big model of it in game out of different materials, (composite armour is mad of different materials) it's usualy hit and miss if it works as intended, if you fire at the model usualy the kinetic energy forces it backwards and makes the carnage more noticeable/makes a chain reaction of explosions, if it was on a ship or if it was bigger or if it was against a wall the kinetic energy would not do that, the only problem then is the explosion, and the air brakes somehow don't like exploding... @pilotred233

at least you aren't the Brit who gets lots of people spelling armour incorrectly in his comments lol ;) I've started on the britania III/IV since I made an unofficial 3 based of the II I've made all the canards and thrust vectoring myself! Yay just need it to be able to hover and give the engines some air haha it looks so cool ;) @DarkLithium

Chain reactions are annoying that's why layers are needed @TheRubyArmy1134

i tried making an armored plane that woud withstand bullets, however it failed because of chain reactions in the plane

Battleships, can withstand most explosions (provided they are not a
Right next to it) and missiles @iiRazor

Nice! Clever design, and actually rather close to real composite / spaced armor, at least to the best of my knowledge. Well done.
