History
The PTR (Pesawat Tempur Rakyat/People's Fighter Plane) was the first aircraft produced by Indonesia. This aircraft first flew in 1957.
The PTR was made because of the increasing number of Dutch destroyers in the Java Sea. This aircraft was made using the P-51 Mustang frame. And use an old Nakajima B5N engine.
The aircraft's top speed is only around 530 km/h. This aircraft is quite heavy because it uses aluminum finishing.
