Whew. This is easily the most difficult flag I've ever made. I started working on this flag since before I made FlagsWorldwide. Anyways, this is the flag of Nepal, the hindu-worshipping, gorgeous, mountain conquering nation in East Asia. It borders China and India. Nepal has the world's only non-quadrilateral flag that acts as both the state flag and civil flag of a sovereign nation. The unique shape symbolizes the Himalayas, the blue border symbolizes peace and harmony, the red symbolizes the brave spirit of the Nepali people. Finally, The depiction of celestial bodies represents permanence and the hope that Nepal will last as long as the sun and the moon.
