AC-1A Juti

Five days ago I posted my first naval vessel. It was quite well received. Now I’m posting my first vehicle and boy am I happy with how this ridiculous creature turned out. For those who are curious, this is inspired by the Panhard AML. If you don’t know what it is, look it up. It’s an impressive piece of hardware in… many ways. Anyway, yeah, I really like how this thing turned out.

The AC-1A Juti is a light tank designed to serve as the basis of the second arm of Winolian ground doctrine. While the first arm focuses on penetrative and decisive firepower, centered around group combat designed to pin down and suppress enemy assets, the second arm focuses on advanced recon, exploitation, deep interdiction and tactical disruption. The AC-1A is well suited in a number of way. From the ground up, it’s designed to be well armoured but light enough to achieve the speeds required for recon, logistics disruption and light support. Because they run on wide and sturdy road wheels, these vehicles have high top speeds and good maneuverability in desert terrain, which is where they are designed to operate at their best. The electronics fitted on each vehicle are sophisticated, capable of integrating into Taktix systems, which allows advanced recon units (like aircraft) to enhance their exploitative capabilities, and can operate day or night and in low visibility conditions.

Crew: 3 [Driver, gunner, commander/secondary gunner]
Main armament:
G-22 Advanced 90mm tank gun [28 rounds]
Self-guided Anti-tank missiles [4 tubes]
Secondary armament: 7.62mm coaxial machine gun
Weight: 6.95 tonnes
Systems:
Digital ‘Commander’s Periscope’
Gunner’s primary day-night sight with varied magnification
Laser Rangefinder
Thermal intensifier
Radial proximity sensors
Panoramic commander and gunner sights
Autonomous awareness sub-radar system
Taktix-1 battle management system

Controls:
Throttle - Accelerate
Brake - Decelerate [Will also turn on brake lights]
Yaw - Turn
Pitch up- Extend base stabilisers [for improve accuracy]
VTOL - Traverse gun
Trim - Elevate gun
Fire Weapons - Fire main gun or missiles

Action groups:
AG1 - Activate co-ax machine gun
AG2 - Activate stabilizers
AG5 - Low beam headlights
AG6 - Activates tail lights
AG7 - Full beam headlights
[Hopefully I haven’t missed anything out]

A WORD OF WARNING! Drive this thing at about 15-30% throttle or prepare to face too much engine power. Steer gently as well.

The gun is pretty stable and everything works pretty well. It’s a little rough around the edges but it does it job well. And for something so tiny it packs a punch and can take a hit or two without going down. Have a go at killing the desert convoy although with the way to gun shoots, good luck. I’ll improve it in later versions. Enjoy.

@Tank6376 I could give it a go after I finish some of my current projects. It's quite similar to the Juti in overall shape. Will let you know if I build it.
