The main protagonist of my Ace Combat Zero but with WW2 Planes video, Cifre (old French for... Cipher), he flies the renowned P-51D Mustang, one of the main fighter planes of the Osean Air Force.

Lore :

Upon the invasion of Wielvakia by Belka, Wielvakia Air Force comes into action to hold off invading Belkan planes, Cifre was a pilot of the Wielvakia Air Force and was one of the first to take on the Belkans, at first he flew the PZL P.11 biplane, and managed to get the first allied kill of an enemy plane by shooting down a Belkan Ju-87, he then shot down a couple more planes such as Do-17s, Ju-88s, Bf-110s, and Bf-109s, earning him the title of the first ace of the war, despite his successes however, the Belkans took most of the Northwestern Wielvakia, so he and his squadron was forced to move inland.

Cifre then took part in the defense of the capital, this time he flies a much more modern PZL P.50, he shot down more airplanes, but just like last time the Belkans reached the capital and took it, he was still flying and fighting when the Belkans took the capital and so his commanding officer ordered him to immediately leave the battle and escape to a nearby friendly airbases, so he took on an epyc escape journey, through valleys, mountains, and such, whilst being chased by like 50 Belkan aircraft.

As he landed on a friendly airbase, Wielvakia surrendered, and the Belkans ordered the handover of several flying aces including Cifre, but he was just too valuable to fall into the Belkan hands, so he was covertly sent away to Osea.

In Osea, he was assigned to a fighter unit, the 102nd Foreign Fighter Squadron, this is where he met Pixie, a Belkan pilot who defected during the rise of the political party, he would be the wingman to Cifre, and they both partook in various missions throughout the war.

And then the desertion incident happened, she was replaced by GeeDay, Cifre and GeeDay advanced inland into Belka and saw the overthrow, advanced into the island to destroy weapons in possession of the Belkan Blüth, Pixie with his Lancer appears, GeeDay was killed, Cifre fought him, won, then flied back to Osea.

After the war, Cifre went back to his homeland Wielvakia, returned to the air force and became an instructor, although he was well known and a top ace he preferred not to tell stories regarding his past, he was rumored to have teached a particular Cipher.
