Main description

The Jagdbär 10.5cm is a open-top tank destroyer based on the Panther hull. It uses a 10 cm schwere Kanone, the same gun used on the Dicker Max. The Jagdbär was made to compensate for the failures of the Dicker Max. To protect against infantry attacks, the Jagdbär was armed with a hull-mounted MG34 and a commander MG34 The tank was designed to use multiple guns as a base as to repurpose the armament incase of a shortage in cannon production. A prototype was made, but was later scrapped by the British after capture.
