(in lore) The PEIB F-43.A Etadrako is a naval fighter developed by PEIB (Bravantino Independent Space Program) and manufactured by Rustacio Industries (Rust). It was created as a matter of urgency by the newly formed Bravantino government, being designed in 2 years and having its first prototype and flight 1 year after its planning, all of this occurred between 2016 and 2018.
Its main rival was the Buffalo BF-109.
Rust had realized that offering old and modernized 4th generation fighters was not a very good offer, so, rescuing old projects of the F-19 PrimisDrakon, they redesigned the fighter, something "leaner", modern and agile, thus emerging, directly from PrimisDrakon, the EtaDrako a spiritual successor. In its first years (2018 to 2020) in the Bravantina Navy, they were turbulent, with only 30 units manufactured. It demonstrated average performance, high speed and constant failures such as lack of response from the fighter in maneuvers, problems with engine overheating, sudden shutdown of the radar and the high cost of maintaining the mobile wings. However, after a small update to the systems carried out by the PEIB, many of the problems that the aircraft had were corrected, with only the engine and wing still needing to be fixed.
Its end occurred in 2020, when it was replaced by its B variant, being either deactivated or being updated to this variant.
