''Setting The Skies Ablaze''

ABOUT THIS PLANE:

RP-11 Blazer is my original WW2 aircraft based on the design of Matchbox's Sky Buster SB-111 Air Blitz. It is a propeller plane where the orientation of the wings and the propeller are in "reverse", making it a push-prop canard aircraft with the primary wings placed at the rear of the fuselage.

I used VTOL engine and Nozzles to simulate the exhaust pipes of WWII aircraft; somehow, it doesn't conflict with the thrust output of using both a propeller and a jet engine for thrust. The VTOL Engine simulates the use of nitrous in prop planes and serves as the World War 2 version of afterburners.

AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION:

A WW2 push-prop fighter-bomber of the late 1930s with a "Reverse" wing configuration, where the placements of the primary wings and horizontal stabilizers are swapped. Its unique configuration, paired with a powerful supercharged V-12 engine fitted with Nitrous, enables it to achieve high acceleration and speed. It can carry a good amount of bombs, rockets, and torpedoes, and is armed with four .50 Calibre Machine Guns. However, it lacks mobility, which is compensated by the tail-gunner armed with two .50 Calibre Machine Guns providing rearward protection against enemy aircraft. Overall, this plane provides an excellent range of firepower and mission versatility, making it a great fighter-bomber, but it suffers from a high stall speed and is prone to uncontrollable lateral spins due to the lack of a vertical tail. Its nickname is the "Blazer".

NOTES:
  • Stall Speed at TAS < 150 MPH.
  • TakeOff Speed at TAS > 160 MPH.
  • Landing Speed at TAS < 200 MPH.
  • This aircraft lacks mobility that's why there is a gunner to compensate.
  • This aircraft can enter to an unrecoverable spin if you over ruddered (yaw).
Be careful when using the rudder (yaw).
