Mannesmann Giant Triplane

52.5k Tang0five  1.8 years ago

A little something that has been in build for years but I lost all interest sadly a long time ago.

This philosophy behind this behemoth was to bomb targets in America upon their entry into the First World War. The only surviving part today is a wooden wheel, rubber being in to short supply during the war in Germany. The main fuselage was part built but the end of the war curtailed the project and this massive triplane never flew.

This aircraft formed the basis of the German bomber in the young Indiana jones episode ‘attack of the hawkmen’.
