The C-109 Cavalo is an STOL mid-sized cargoplane, which was desined for military purpose, but the air force doesn't bought the model, because the cargo capacity was not enough for a military useage. But after a few years, air line companies started to buy them, and use tham as civillian cargoplanes. The Cavalo has a good fuel useage, a decent cargo space, and a simple design which makes it relative cheap and easily repairable.
