In 1943 Stalin wanted a propaganda machine that was also a functioning aircraft. A new designer was given a chance. Kronkanov was chosen in favor of others due to his being brought up in Georgia. (Stalins birth country) His design brought elements from the Hs-129 and combined them with Russian bias to create this incredible aircraft. With 4 offensive dshk’s paired with a 37mm cannon, this plane is a wonderful bomber hunter. While the F32 cannon is a powerful weapon in the sky, it is very hard to aim, so... there is a 300kg bomb.
