The SMI Chimera E4 was built in 1956 as a fixed wing alternative to the Chimera MVA swing wing design and would have a short production run of only 75, it would serve in the Esnian civil war and then go on to be used in the peacekeeping efforts of 1976 before being retired in 1979 they were sold after retirement to Esnia and are still in service with them today.
