WARNING:: THIS PLANE'S BOMBS WILL LAG YOU OUT

Alternate history: Developed by Germany as a long range, heavyweight bomber, the Jormungdr (Brazilian name: Quetzicoatl) quickly became the prime canidate for production with its smaller size and heavier payload than other bomber choices, however, it came at a cost when the gunners were often crammed, hence the plane was occasionally called the flying coffin due to the stuffy air and low mobility of the craft, to counter the issue, many He-500 bombers removed the gunner spots aside from the tail gunner due to the Hummels being just as capable of matching the performance of the He-500.

In the South American front Brazil had completely overtaken Columbia as part of its territory and in response, Chile, Argentina, and Peru signed a pact with Brazil to become the South American Union of Nation or SAUN in order to attempt to take a head on approach against the US pressure from the north, in turn the German Luftwaffe once again delivered their most recent bombers; the He-500 to Rio de Janerio in exchange for oil and mineral mining in the Amazon basin,, with the Colombian navy dismantled, this supplied the German Forces with little to no resistance and what resistance they were met with was quickly dealt with thanks to a rapidly growing force. Late in the year, the US Navy had launched a massive offense against the SAUN in order to attempt to liberate Columbia but was met with an untimely demise when 30 He-500 bombers quickly decimated the fleet, leading to an embarassing loss to the amreicans, to which the SAUN retaliated with massive bombing campaigns against Mexico City, Galveston, San Antonio, and Austin to weaken both Moral in the Mexican-American peoples and to show the sheer might of the He-500, where a single He-500 carried two 12,000 LBS bombs to Houston and obliterated the ports in the city in what was known as one of the deadliest attacks on US soil.
