A prototype jet fighter designed during may of 1939 and having it's first flight in august 1944, despite insufficient testing it was forced into combat due to necessity. It was powered by a BMW 003 E-1 and armed with 8 high caliber machine guns and two 20mm cannons. It was built with simplicity in mind, so aspects like the cockpit were simplified so pilots with less experience would be able to fly it, however, theory is not always the same in practice and it proved to be quite difficult to fly for newer pilots. In total only 12 of them were built; 7 lost between combat and accidents, the remaining captured and later scrapped. None of them remain to this day.
