If you haven’t noticed, SP is a somewhat cubical game. Say for example, the blocks. I would make something and say to myself, “yeah, it looks great!”. Then I look at creators and my happiness level drops instantly as I scroll through all the masterpieces that were created by Leonardo Da Vinci himself! I also wondered how to make a cockpit fit in a build. As I later found the answer to this, by just hiding it away. I feel ya I have some creations I probably will never upload but that I thought were great but then I just looked on the sight and I’m like welp this is garbage
Just a few tips that it took me a while to learn. 1. Pylons are your friend. You can set them to do exactly what detatchers do but better. If you set the force on the pylons to about 50-70%, your bombs will clear the bay with no issues. (Which you can do in settings) Also you can change the angle that the bay doors open (I love how you set up the gear on the doors btw) from 90 to 60 so they don't hit the engines. Also, the fuselage pieces are one-way solids, so if you stick your cockpit in one, it becomes invisible when in cockpit view, which you can use to still have a cockpit view while also hiding away the piece. Also don't be afraid to try new things! Can't wait to see where you go from here!
