TR-3B

18.3k SpartanSR91  2.3 years ago

Tactical Reconnaissance model 3B, known as TR-3B for short, is a supposed surveillance air/spacecraft used by the United States Air Force. The propulsion system uses a pressurized mercury solution, which is accelerated by nuclear energy to create plasma. The plasma interacts with the Higgs Boson Field to lower the craft's gravitational forces. This is a fancy way of saying the TR-3B uses an anti-gravity drive for lift, but also reduces the effect of gravity on the ship and its crew by 80%. The plasma also reduces the TR-3B's radar signature to almost zero, this craft would not be picked up on radar despite its massive size. The 3 lift engines compensate for the remainder of the craft's mass and control its altitude. The TR-3B's lateral propulsion (forward/reverse and Pitch/Roll/Yaw) use conventional thrusters along the outer edges of the triangular hull.

Controls:

  • Pitch/Roll/Yaw: Pitch/Bank/Turn

  • Throttle: Increase/Decrease Plasma Intermix (more itermix means more thruster power)

  • VTOL: Forward/Reverse Thrusters (requires at least 1% plasma intermix to function)

  • Trim: Increase/Decrease Hover Altitude

  • AG1: Toggle Warp Drive (The TR-3B has supposedly been sighted zooming off at impossible speeds)

  • AG8: Toggle Active Hover (turns the lift engines on and off)

Alternate Camera Views:

  • Captain's Chair (has 360 degree view of the bridge)

  • Pilot's Seat (has flight controls for VR users)

  • Co-Pilot's Seat (Same as Pilot's Seat, but on right-hand side with some controls on opposite sides)

  • Engineering Station (has control panel with engine status, plasma intermix status, and other data)

  • Tactical Station (has static radar screen (rotators and pistons went full limp noodle with this build, no idea why) and other tactical data

@SpartanSR91 0-o and also yesterday#last night(yeah I don't sleep much so I can't tell difference between today's or tomorrow's)I was thinking so stupid as to try and combine my tr3b parts & functions with yours which I ended up doing and it was a major lag game crash catastrophe basically had to just delete app n re-download

@SpartanSR91 also I would very much like to know and be super greatful if you'd be okay helping me with something, I wanna make my version of the tr-3b much larger cause , okay plz don't call me crazy alot of people do that when I spout "nonsense" of triangular formated lights that r very spaced out from eachother, point is ive seen something that I can never forget , and if it was the illusive tr3b then my version clearly is nowhere near as big as a real one and everytime I try making it bigger using tuner or overload even when I don't hit calculate mass, it still acts as if it gets alot heavier and slower and unbalanced+ parts become unstably fragile , whenever I make the entire craft as large as this one you made ._. And I've tried this many times even before I saw your version of it , but I can't figure out how to scale it massive or even just the size of yours , without it having issues with mass or weight , so if u know a fix and will help me I'd be grateful, u don't have to though:/ I'm fine with how it is but just at the same time I wish I could make it larger without problems occurring

@SpartanSR91 I know ,I just meant that I'm bad at making specific details internally to my builds ;-; that's y most of my builds don't have any fancy views for the inside , aside from building this ; https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/K3zgzy/Flying-Car-6-2-auto-aim-turret
which was both easy and difficult for me cause I'm just bad at scaling things up in general but also easy cause we'll in simplest terms it is just a car so it's not really hard to do details of cars since cars r literally everywhere these days irl and games

@TylerThomason2 I use Fine Tuner, Designer Suite, and Overload to help with building, although the first two are in the game by default.

I'm literally terrible at trying to cram details inside of my builds that's y I rarely do

Yours deserves infinity downloads compared to any of mine , I don't even have such realistic internal views or even internal controls at all
