The CI.Mk.1 is one of the most important aircraft in Snowstone Collective's arsenal. The plane's main function is to provide control for up to 2 squadrons (20 aircraft) of drone aircraft. Ordinarily drones would be individually controlled from their home base by a pilot using a complex form of remote control, however the computing technology in the CL.Mk.1 combined with the sensor and automation suits in each drone allows each aircraft to operate on its own intelligently or as a formation. This leaves drone pilots free to focus on ground attack and air support missions rather than dogfighting.

A secondary function of the aircraft is to gather intelligence on enemy forces.
