HF-321C Nighthawk Heavy Fighter

487 Flameslinger  5.8 years ago
Auto Credit Based on Odst578xl's Heavy Fighter Challenge

Deciding to test their skills and luck, Flame Crafted Engineering set out to make a Heavy Fighter for their second competition they would take part in. The Heavy Fighter they created was quite different from most other heavy fighters due to the Hybrid Propulsion System used. With 3 propellers and 3 Auxillary jet engines, this fighter could easily surpass 600 mph. In terms of HE weaponry, this aircraft was lacking with 2 250 lb. Bombs, 2 torpedos, 14 free fire rockets, and AtG Heat Seeking Missiles in addition to 2 short range AtA guided missiles. To compensate for this, it was equipped with 12 wing mounted machine guns and 2 miniguns carefully mounted in the inlets. With an emergency 500 lb. Bomb for last resort strikes, additional counter measures, as well as rapid deceleration equipment, this plane is truly a terror of the skies and all who fly against it.

@Odst578xl @Giggitymerf Thanks for the reviews! I'll have to try and work on making the pitch speed faster.

The aircraft performed well in bothe challenges, but it took a little while to get on target with it’s slow pitch. Overall great plane and it looks great as well.

By the way, it is NOT recommended to use both propulsion systems simultaneously for extended periods of time. Propellers can't handle as much RPM.
