2 Years later the XVIF-6 (CDCA148) and the XVIF-7 (CDC152) has Started the flight tests, The XVIF-6 was a STOVL Model that uses One CLJ-85-GE-47 That are a Improved, licence-made J-85 child that is a TurboFan instead of a turbojet, making it more fuel efficient, with a power of 4650Lb on military thrust, with the intake in the top to avoiding the possible damage caused for dirt of random objects suck, also reduces a lot the danger of flameouts caused by the hot air re-ingestion that where in most VTOL Jets.
the prototype was inefficient for the lack of power and excessively small size, much smaller than the XVIF-7.
